The Story... The T-Shirt... that established CU’s football tradition.

Things Have Changed
Designed by Two Hype after Coach McCartney’s motivational pep-talk to players.
Two Hype began on the campus of the University of Colorado when Jeff Penix CU alumni and student-athlete and Chris Christmas, a visionary, both had the vision to enable college athletes to become entrepreneurs.
After a pivotal meeting with then head Football Coach, Bill McCartney, and in anticipation of a key game between the CU Buffaloes and long-standing rival, the Oklahoma Sooners, Penix and Christmas (together with then partner Tom Warren) created the “Things Have Changed” T-shirt.

Runaway with NCAA Championship
The T-shirt marked a change in the player’s attitude and the team’s trajectory.
The Buffalos won against the Sooners on Oklahoma’s home gridiron for the first time since 1961. This marked the birth of the Two Hype brand.
In 1990 Two Hype went on to design official Orange Bowl team gear for University of Colorado NCAA National Football Champs.
